In the morning they thought of a plan. They made themselves look as dirty with grease and dirt. They then went up to the Dean and said that they had gone out to a wedding last night and on their return the tire of their car burst and they had to push the car all the way back and that they were in no condition to appear for the test.
So the Dean said they could have the re-test after 3 days. They thanked him and said they would be ready by that time. On the third day they appeared before the Dean. Never walk without a document People with documents look hardworking. Those with nothing in their hands look like they're going to the cafeteria.

Carry loads of stuff home with you at night to show that you work longer hours than you really do.

If your boss catches you doing nothing official on the computer... your best defense is to claim you're learning a new software to save money.

Messy desk Build huge piles of documents around your workspace, only top management can get away with a clean desk.

Screen all your calls through voice mail If somebody leaves a message for pending work, respond during lunch hour when you know they're not there.

Look impatient & annoyed to give the impression that you're always busy.

Always leave the office late, especially when the boss is still around. Make sure you walk past the boss' room on your way out.

Send important e-mails at unearthly hours (i.e. 9:35pm , 7:05am , etc.)& during public holidays.

Creative sighing for effect Sigh loudly when there are many people around, giving the impression that you are under extreme pressure.

It is not enough to pile lots of documents on the table. Put lots of books on the floor, etc. (thick computer manuals are the best).

Read computer magazines & pick out all the jargon & new products. Use the phrases freely when in conversation with bosses.

MOST IMPORTANT -- DON'T forward this to your boss by mistake!

Client has 2 cows and u need to milk them.
1. First prepare a document when to milk them (Project kick off)
2. Prepare a document how long you have to milk them (Project plan)
3. Then prepare how to milk them (Design)
4. Then prepare what other accessories are needed to milk them (Framework)
5. Then prepare two dummy cows (sort of toy cows) and show to client the way in which you will milk them. (UI Mockups & POC)
6. If client is not satisfied then redo from step 2
7. You actually start milking them and find that there are few problems with accessories. (Change framework)
8. Redo step 4
9. At last milk them and send it to onsite. (Coding over)
10. Make sure that cow milks properly (Testing)
11. Onsite reports that it is not milking there.
12. You break your head and find that onsite is trying to milk from bulls
13. At last onsite milk them and send to client (Testing)
14. Client says the quality of milk is not good. (User Acceptance Test)
15. Offsite then slogs and improves the quality of milk
16. Now the client says that the quality is good but it’s milking at slow rate (performance issue)
17. Again you slog and send it with good performance.
18. Client is happy???
By this time both the COWS aged and can’t milk.
(The software got old and get ready for next release)

Once upon a time, there was a software engineer who used to develop programs on his Pentium machine, sitting under a tree on the banks of a river. He used to earn his bread by selling those programs in the Sunday market.

One day, while he was working, his machine tumbled off the table and fell in the river. Encouraged by the Panchatantra story of his childhood (the woodcutter and the axe),

He started praying to the River Goddess. The River Goddess wanted to test him and so appeared only after one month of rigorous prayers. The engineer told her that he had lost his computer in the river.

As usual, the Goddess wanted to test his honesty. She showed him a match box and asked, "Is this your computer ?" Disappointed by the Goddess' lack of computer awareness, the engineer replied, "No."

She next showed him a pocket-sized calculator and asked if that was his.

Annoyed, the engineer said "No, not at all!!"

Finally, she came up with his own Pentium machine and asked if it was his.

The engineer, left with no option, sighed and said "Yes."

The River Goddess was happy with his honesty. She was about to give

Him all three items, but before she could make the offer, the engineer

Asked her, "Don't you know that you're supposed to show me some better computers before bringing up my own ?"

1.KimberleyBig Hole - South Africa

Apparently the largest ever hand-dug excavation in the world,
this 1097 meter deep mine yielded over 3 tons of diamonds
before being closed in 1914.

2.Glory Hole - Monticello Dam, California

A glory hole is used when a dam is at full capacity and water needs to be drained
from the reservoir
This is the 'Glory Hole' at Monticello dam, and it's the largest in the world of this type of spillway, its size enabling it to consume 14,400 cubic feet of water every 12 sec.

3.BinghamCanyon Mine, Utah

This is supposedly the largest man-made excavation on earth. Extraction began in 1863 and still continues today, the pit increasing in size constantly. In its current state the hole is 2.5 miles wide.

4.Great Blue Hole , Belize

This incredible geographical phenomenon known as a
blue hole is situated 60 miles off the mainland of Belize .
There are numerous blue holes around the world,
but none as stunning as this one.

5.Mirny Diamond Mine , Serbia

I'm pretty sure most people have seen this one. It's an absolute beast and holds the title of largest open diamond mines in the world. At 525 meters deep, with a top diameter of 1200 meters, there's even a no-fly zone above the hole due to a few helicopters having been sucked in.

6.Diavik Mine, Canada

The mine is so huge and the area so remote that it has
its own airport with a runway large enough to accommodate a Boeing 737.
It looks equally cool when the surrounding water is frozen.

7.Sinkhole in Guatemala

These photos are of a sinkhole that occurred early this year in Guatemala .
The hole swallowed a dozen homes and killed at least 3 people.
